Our test benches, equipped with both commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom hardware, are CE certified. We also develop functional models for integration into test benches, enabling rapid prototyping systems. We collaborate closely with customers to analyze system requirements and tailor test applications based on detailed requirement documents, formal test plans, and test procedure documents.

Our Services Include:

  • PC-Controlled Instrumentation-Based Systems: We design, realize, and deploy systems controlled by PCs.
  • Validation Documentation: We handle all analysis, operations, and formal documentation needed to validate the Device Under Test (DUT).

We adhere to industry standards, producing documents that certify each workflow phase, including requirements, architectural, and interface documents. This ensures feasibility, coverage, and traceability against test plans and procedures.

Test Systems

Birmann Infortech Ltd manages the entire test bench process, mastering all necessary competencies in software, mechanics, electronics, electromechanics, and hydraulics. We delegate manufacturing and assembly activities (e.g., PCB, boards, switchboards, mechanics, wirings) to third-party suppliers. Upon request, we can also validate systems according to reference standards.

We prioritize using COTS components to reduce costs and ensure long maintenance lifecycles. When specialized functionalities are required, and no viable commercial solutions exist, we integrate custom components.

For each phase, Birmann Infortech Ltd designs and validates functional models, typically composed of:

We have extensive experience in designing and deploying HW/SW systems where the Plant or DUT are modeled. Our activities include:

  • Designing and implementing non-linear functional models of the Plant or DUT.
  • Tracking functional system requirements directly on the models.
  • Simulating interface responses to design physical interfaces between the test bench system and the DUT.
  • Designing functional test plans and procedures, automatically checking coverage and evaluating test quality and density for each system module.
  • Employing MIL, HIL, and SIL testing approaches, and conducting rapid prototyping analysis.
